Aisles set to be busy at sold out business market

With just a few days to go before the 12th annual , organisers say it is set to be the most successful yet.

Demand for stands has far outstripped the last few years, with more than 110 exhibitors now set to fill Pavilions of on Monday, April 18.

Meanwhile, interest in the programme has never been higher, with a series of seminars and networking events running throughout the day.

Brian Dunsby, who leads the organising team, said: “Interest in Yorkshire Business Market has never been higher and we’re looking forward to a very busy, successful day for everyone involved.

“We have found space for as many businesses as possible to exhibit, but we are now sold out for exhibitors. However, there’s still time for business visitors to register to join us on the day, or they can just register on arrival by presenting two business cards – and of course, attendance is free.

“We have once again attracted some leading Yorkshire figures to join us on the day, so our visitors and exhibitors should look out for them as they tour the aisles. The day will get off to a great start with the opening ceremony at 10am, this year being performed by Sir Gary Verity.”

The seminar programme includes a Google Garage and a Microsoft digital security talk – both of which require pre-booking via the website – as well as local success stories from CNG Ltd and , and support for business teams from Zoe Whitby of ZW Coaching. Visitors can also learn the skills for better networking with ’s seminar, and put them into practice with organised networking sessions at the beginning and end of the day.

Meanwhile, in the exhibition areas, numerous top names have taken stands and will be sharing their latest news and offers with visitors. A new tourism area has been formed with a collection of leading organisations including Welcome to Yorkshire, Visit Harrogate, Harrogate at Christmas, HIC Yorkshire, Harrogate in Bloom, and the Gilbert and Sullivan Festival.

Elsewhere in the halls, exhibitors will include Berwins, Bettys, City College, Rudding Park, Saint Michael’s Hospice and HSBC Bank. The Best of Harrogate is also bringing a collective of its members to highlight the strength of independent businesses across the town.

Visitors can register to attend at www.yorkshirebusinessmarket.org/visit2016.php or by emailing info@yorkshirebusinessmarket.org or just turn up on the day and check-in with two business cards.
