Bradford-based mail order business Freemans Grattan Holdings has awarded NGC Networks a contract to handle more than 30 million minutes of phone calls.
The two-year contract will see the Wakefield-based business communications specialist supply telephony services and route calls from customers across the UK.
Freemans Grattan Holdings utilises a call centre in Sheffield, which receives almost 4 million calls a year from UK customers. More than 250 people are employed at the call centre.
Freemans and Grattan have been members of the German-owned Otto Group – the world’s largest home shopping company – since 1999 and 1991 respectively.
Sandy Malcolm, head of Non-Merchandise Procurement at Freemans Grattan Holdings, said: “Our volume of calls from customers is substantial and it is important that we have a good supplier to ensure we deliver a high standard of service to our customers.
“We look forward to establishing a strong partnership with NGC Networks as our preferred supplier.”
NGC Networks director Nikki Guest said: “Freemans Grattan Holdings is a well-established and successful business and we are very pleased to support their call centre operation as well as provide consultancy services to the company.”
