Vital Network Solutions, the Wetherby-based provider of business IT services, has achieved a further accolade from Microsoft for its cloud computing expertise.
The company has been awarded Silver Partner Status for its competency in delivering infrastructure and SaaS (software as a solution) on Microsoft’s Azure cloud computing platform.
The Silver competency is granted once a specific level of sales has been achieved, as well having at having least one IT engineer pass a technical assessment plus the submission of three customer references for deals involving Azure over the previous 12 months.
Lee Evans, managing director of Vital Network Solutions, said: “This latest accolade comes only a few weeks after we achieved Microsoft Gold Partner status for small and mid-market cloud solutions, and helps further establish us as one of the region’s leading providers of business IT services.
“We are one of only a handful of partners to have achieved both competencies, and it’s testament to and a great recognition of our team’s hard work both in passing the associated technical exams and developing our business and offerings to help our customers take advantage of cloud computing.”
Microsoft Azure is an open and flexible cloud platform that enables businesses to quickly build, deploy, and manage applications across a global network of Microsoft-managed datacenters, and Microsoft Cloud solutions are used by 85 per cent of Fortune 500 companies.
Vital Network Solutions is part of Vital Technology Group, which was established in Harrogate in 2006. The business now includes web development arm Vital Online Studio, ecommerce IT equipment provider Vital Supplies and business communications specialist Vital Telecommunications.
