Frenchgate Shopping Centre, Doncaster, are launching an innovative and interactive summer fashion campaign which is set to turn shoppers into stylists.
The centre is launching the ‘Paper dolls’ campaign on Monday 6 June, which is set to take over Frenchgate’s digital platforms as well as in Centre across the summer.
Using the premise of the old ‘paper dolls’ cut out and dress toys, Frenchgate have created digital and Centre platforms to allow shoppers to style and select a full outfit for their very own fashion doll. Everyone who takes part will then stand a chance of winning their summer wardrobe.
There are both female and male dolls to dress and you can create different types of looks on the dolls from day and night time to beach and clubbing outfits. Participants choose from a wide selection of outfits and accessories to complete the dolls look – all of which are available from stores within Frenchgate.
Karen Staniforth, marketing manager at Frenchgate, said: “We are very excited to be launching our inaugural Paper dolls campaign.
“We have created a simple yet engaging paper dolls game which offers participants the chance to become a fashion stylist and then have the chance to win their summer wardrobe by entering our competition.
“The aim of this campaign is to allow our shoppers to take part in a totally fun and immersive experience combining the digital world with physical purchase.
“We have delivered a fully interactive experience throughout the centre and there are a number of displays as well as digital touch screens where people can take can create their own fashion doll right here at Frenchgate.
“Social media is playing a big part in this campaign and we have just launched Frenchgate’s first Instagram account to coincide with the Paper dolls campaign. You can also share you dressed doll on facebook with your friends.
“The dolls are incredibly easy to dress and we hope people will really enjoy being a fashion stylist and have lots of fun creating the look for their doll. The more creative the better!
