Saucy’s popular range of complementary fish and sauce products will be available to an Austrian audience for the first time this summer, as the brand take part in an exciting new temporary shop concept.
The “British Pop-up” shop, which opened its doors in June, is located in Vienna’s popular Millennium Shopping Arcade and is designed to get the hottest British lifestyle, fashion and food brands in front of an Austrian audience.
This isn’t the first pop-up from CoolBrand The Saucy Fish Co., last year, they hosted an award-winning pop-up event in London, designed to showcase the ease of cooking fish.
Saucy’s School of Fish stunt saw children, aged six to eight, take over a restaurant during a busy lunchtime sitting, preparing, cooking and serving Saucy Fish dishes to over 150 impressed diners, demonstrating that cooking fish is child’s play.
The Saucy Fish Co’s international and business development manager Paul Macis said: “International expansion is a focus for The Saucy Fish Co this year; This innovative British pop-up provides a great opportunity to increase brand exposure amongst buyers from Austria’s major retail chains.
“The pop-up also enables us to trial a range of products at different price points to consumers, in what could be an exciting market for Saucy Fish.”
In the six years since launch, The Saucy Fish Co. have changed the way millions of Brits think about fish and are now emulating this success overseas, with most recent listings in Publix and Wholefoods in the US.
Earlier this year, The Saucy Fish Co announced they have been voted the number one seafood brand in the world, after being judged against 19 other leading seafood brands from across the world, including Young’s, Trident, Bumble Bee, Gorton’s and Iglo as part of the IntraFish Seafood Branding Report 2016.
