As the UK prepares for life outside the European Union, a panel of international business experts are to debate the key questions.
The IoD-organised breakfast debate takes place at the West Park Hotel, Harrogate on 15 September.
Among the panellists will be Tim Dewey, chief executive of independent, Yorkshire family brewer Timothy Taylor’s and Margaret Wood MBE, managing director of Wakefield-based glazed unit manufacturer ICW (UK). They will be joined by Fiona Mee, director of training provider York Associates International, who has worked in the Czech Republic, Germany and Brazil.
The panel is completed by Jon Geldart, executive director, markets development, for business advisor Grant Thornton, an expert on the impact of China on the UK economy and its cultural differences.
The debate, which starts at 8.30am, will be chaired by Richard Abbott of Cicada Communications.
