Albion nominated in national customer service awards

Darren Baxter, commercial manager from Barnsley-based Albion Valves Ltd, has been shortlisted in the national HVR Awards in the Customer Service Person of the 2016 .

The 32-year-old, who has been with Albion for over 11 years, faces some tough competition at the award’s final from businesses all over the UK. The awards will be presented at ceremony at the Chelsea Harbour on Thursday, 27th October this year.

Heating and Ventilation Review (HVR) is the premier magazine for the industry and their annual awards are designed to recognize top talent within the industry.

The Customer Service Person of the Year category was introduced for the first time last year, and is designed for the individual who outshines everyone within their customer service field. Anyone based at the frontline field of heating and ventilation can be nominated, whether they are the clerk, receptionist, apprentice, engineer or company owner.

 Darren said: “I am absolutely delighted to have been nominated in this category and honoured to receive industry recognition. I am really proud to be representing Albion who has an ever-growing reputation in the industry especially for great customer service. I’d like to say a huge thanks to everyone who has voted for me.”
