Stockeld Park is launching a “Battle of the Businesses” to raise funds for its chosen charity of the year, Saint Michael’s Hospice.
The visitor attraction, known for its seasonal adventures, is hosting the team building fundraising challenge for local businesses between 10am and 3pm on Sunday 16 October.
Put your business and colleagues to the test with a series of challenges throughout the fun-filled day. In multiple teams of up to five people you can test your wits to muddle through the maze of mystery & mayhem. Or test your team skills with a series of tricky trials. Only the teams that communicate well, work together and give their all will survive.
Sarah Murray, sales and marketing manager at Stockeld Park, said: “Every year we do something new and exciting to raise funds for Saint Michael’s Hospice in Harrogate. This year we decided to involve local businesses and create a fun team building day where local organisations could come together, to compete against one another, while raising much needed funds for a great cause.
Saint Michael’s exists to help people with terminal illness to live and die well. They do this by offering specialist care, comfort and support, free of charge, to patients and their families in Harrogate. We hope that you can join us in supporting them with their great work. They need every penny and last year we raised £6,000 so we are hoping to beat that this year.”
The entrance fee per person is £30 with every penny being donated to Saint Michael’s Hospice. Each team member will enjoy a day to remember and receive a goodie-bag, souvenir t-shirt, bottle of water and lunch.
The winning team will be awarded with the “Battled the Businesses” trophy and each winning team member will also receive use of an annual pass to Stockeld Park.
To sign up for the “Battle of the Business” challenge, teams are asked to contact Sarah or Georgie via email@example.com or call 01937 586101 to reserve their places.
