Prospects, the employment, education and skills company, has chosen Wakefield to host their managers’ conference, Our People: Our Prospects. The conference brings together more than 100 senior managers at Unity Works later this week.
The conference focusses on how company culture creates development opportunities for people. Developing people’s potential is a key theme for Prospects, who are best known in Wakefield for their work as Connexions Wakefield.
The company, which employ more than 1,400 colleagues across the country, support more than 500,000 young people and adults each year.
Conference organiser, and director of organisational development at Prospects, Maureen Hooley, said: “Unity Works is at the heart of the community supporting local projects and is the perfect space for our conference.
“Prospects has a strong sense of social purpose and is one of the largest employee owned businesses in the country, bringing our conference to Unity Works allows us to support these projects which in turn help so many of the young people we work with in the region.”
