A new business growth initiative is being launched by a Harrogate accountancy practice to help local entrepreneurs take their companies to the next level.
The launch will take place from 5pm – 7pm on Wednesday, November 16 at CCF Accountancy’s offices on Victoria Avenue, Harrogate, and is free to attend.
CCF’s managing director Teresa Bowe said: “We plan to hold ten events, starting in February 2017. Three of these will take the form of mini business markets, when we will invite local professionals to offer advice and have an expert speaker on hand to lead a short seminar.
“The remaining sessions will have a themed approach on a particular area of business – marketing, HR, employment law and so on – where those present can talk to their peers to gain insights and advice on challenges they may be facing. It’s a chance to get a fresh perspective as well as information they need.”
The new group will be tailored specifically for business owners who have been trading for a year or two, who are over the start-up process and focused on how they can push their businesses forward.
November’s launch is an opportunity for interested parties to learn more about how it will work and offer thoughts about the areas of business in which they would benefit from some expert advice.
“We’re genuinely interested in helping people to grow their businesses and find solutions to the problems they face on a regular basis, so we’ll also be asking why they are struggling to access support at the moment – perhaps they are too busy or are simply unsure where to start with a particular issue,” explained CCF’s senior partner, Michael Best, who is a driving force behind the new initiative.
“There’s no commitment to attend every month – members can pick and choose the meetings that are relevant or interesting to them so they get maximum benefit from the group.”
The launch evening will run on a ‘drop-in’ basis so people can call in any time between 5pm and 7pm to learn more, share their own thoughts and network with like-minded individuals. Although places are free, prior booking is essential and can be made by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling the office on 01423 567499.
