Sheffield-based tech firm Azzure IT heads for growth with the introduction of two new members of staff.

Joining the team are Maurice Deegan, who will manage new business sales and Eliot Damon who will act as marketing manager.

The appointments come as a result of the ongoing rapid growth and success for the firm.  Recently, Azzure IT was named the 11th fastest growing IT company in the UK and the 37th fastest in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), in Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500 listing.

Maurice brings ten years’ experience of selling niche software systems, including SAGE and Microsoft products to various sectors including manufacturing, distribution and professional service companies.

Eliot brings a wealth of experience in marketing, working both with clients and agencies, for brands such as HP, BT, Capita and Experian.

Maurice said: “I am delighted to work for a company nationally recognised by Microsoft, with a strong reputation for excellence in business.

“I’m aware of the impressive level of success and growth achieved by Azzure IT over the past few years. It’s great to be part of such a fast-growing company and to contribute in taking that forward.”

Eliot said: “I am excited to return to Sheffield and take up this exciting opportunity with Azzure IT.

“I’m looking forward to further building Azzure’s reputation as a market leader.”

Craig Such, managing director at Azzure IT, said: “We’re very pleased to welcome Maurice and Eliot to the Azzure IT team.

“Azzure has experienced high levels of growth in the past few years and these new appointments will enable us to continue this momentum.

“I know that Eliot and Maurice will play important roles in the continued growth of the company going forward and the wealth of experience they bring will be invaluable.”
