Events company takes on Yorkshire Three Peaks in support of colleague’s family

In memory of Simply Better’s Katie’s nephew, Thomas Arthur Hall, born asleep on 23 November 2016, the team at Simply Better Events is walking the Yorkshire Three Peaks, to jointly fundraise for Sands stillbirth and neonatal death charity and local charity Chellow Hearts, supporting Chellow Heights Special School in Bradford.

The team of 17 will each will take on all or part of the 24.5 mile route on 5 May. The Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge takes on the peaks of Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, and includes 5,200ft of ascent, all in one day.

Josie Watson from  Bradford Sands said: “Thank you so much to Simply Better Events for including our charity in the Three Peaks Challenge. Good luck everyone.”

Katie Hansard, Chellow Hearts family support worker and charity fundraiser, said: “We can’t thank the team at Simply Better Events enough for choosing to support our school and charity. We want to wish everyone involved in the challenge the best of luck!”

Rob Woodhead, Simply Better Events managing director, said: “We wanted to offer our support to Katie’s family. Having completed a demanding charity challenge last year, we decided on another, this time to fundraise for these two charities, chosen by Katie’s sister Janie and brother-in-law, Matthew Hall. Sponsors of any amount will be gratefully received.”
