Nexus Vehicle Rental has been crowned the winner of two national Best Business Awards. Nexus beat strong competition from businesses across the UK to claim the Best Innovation and Best Customer Focus titles for 2017.
Based near Leeds, Nexus specialises in providing access to over 500,000 vehicles, including 100,000 specialist and commercial vehicles, across 2,000 UK locations, via an unrivalled network of suppliers. Vehicles can be booked in just 10 seconds at the click of a mouse through its award-winning online rental booking and management tool, IRIS.
The judges awarded Nexus Best Innovation as they were impressed by the industry-leading IRIS system, which is developed exclusively by Nexus and can be white-labelled to suit any clients’ needs, as well as its development of innovative technology and rental software.
Similarly, the judging panel cited Nexus’ 99 per cent customer satisfaction rate – three times better than the industry average – as worthy of winning the Best Customer Focus category, a title it also claimed in 2014.
David Brennan, CEO at Nexus Vehicle Rental, said: “By entering the Best Business Awards we were challenging ourselves to compete with some of the most successful companies in the country. To come away with two awards is testament to the hard work the Nexus team puts in day in and day out to develop our market-leading rental software while maintaining outstanding customer service levels.”
Commenting on the awards, the chairman of the Best Business Awards Judges, said: “Nexus Vehicle Rental is driving forward change at top speed in the vehicle hire market with the implementation of its cloud-based IRIS platform. By making it easier for businesses and individuals to have the right vehicle to hand quickly, it transports them into a new era of efficiency.”
Organised by AwardsIntelligence, the world’s leading provider of business awards and personal honours services, the Best Business Awards pride themselves on having a large panel of over 20 independent expert judges who select winners according to strict criteria for each category and sector.
The awards attract a wide range of entries from across all sectors from large international PLCs and public sector organisations to dynamic and innovative SMEs.
