Over 600 attend Kirklees’ biggest business conference

Business professionals from across Kirklees gathered at The John Smith’s Stadium for the 2017 Kirklees Business Conference.

The free, one-day conference, organised by the Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce, gave delegates the chance to connect with over 50 exhibitors and learn from a number of fantastic speakers on the engaging seminar line-up.

A discussion panel took place which provided an insight into the upcoming developments and regeneration in Kirklees. During the panel, it was announced that The HD One development will include in the region of 12 restaurants and a hotel, creating 500 jobs with further opportunities for growth and progression.

Mark Evans, Owner of Better Telecoms, a delegate at KBC, said: “I had a great day meeting some brilliant local businesses and making valuable new connections.  It was really encouraging to witness the buzz and hear the confidence they all share about the positive activity within the area.”

This year the event was supported by The Design Mechanics, Comoodle, Social Progress, The John Smith’s Stadium, TopicUK, Lattitude7, John Steel Photography and KC Communications.
