Roger Boothman, owner of the Thirsk-based mobile car paint repair company Revive! beat off competition from other Revive! owners throughout the UK to pick up the company’s 2016 Business Expansion award for significant growth.
The company, which specialises in repairing minor scuffs and scrapes to vehicle bodywork and alloy wheels, grew its turnover by a staggering 41% during 2016. Roger was presented with the award by Revive!-sponsored BTCC racing driver and 2013 Champion Andrew Jordan at the Revive! annual conference held last week at the home of English football, St George’s Park in Burton.
Roger said: “The Revive! business awards are like the Oscars for us! It’s a good discipline to strive to be the best you can. I’m delighted to have won the award but won’t be resting on my laurels – I have high ambitions for my business and will continue to focus on delivering the highest quality of service to our customers.”
Mark Llewellyn, managing director of Revive! UK, said: “Roger has worked really hard this year and should be congratulated on achieving brilliant results. He demonstrates strong ethics, excellent financials and a high level of commitment to everything he does.”
Revive!’s customers include car dealerships, manufacturers and private motorists. Cosmetic repair is a top quality, cost effective and time-saving alternative to taking the vehicle to a bodyshop for minor paintwork or alloy wheel repairs. Costing far less than the average insurance policy excess, the work is carried out at a time and place to suit the customer, minimising vehicle downtime and protecting the owner’s no claims bonus.
