Crowd for Angels, one of the UK’s leading crowdfunding companies, is delighted to announce that its client Esale has successfully completed its fundraising campaign.
The rapidly growing online estate agent attracted investment of £38,001 from 27 investors which it will now spend on ramping up its advertising and marketing campaigns in order to win new business.
Initially launched as a complementary offering to an established lettings agency in Harrogate, Esale went its own way in 2010 and has not looked back since.
It is taking advantage of rapid growth being seen in the online estate agency industry which has been driven by technology enabling home owners to sell their property for less. Customers can pay as low as £495 to sell their property through Esale’s sophisticated online portal.
This is significantly lower than the average of around £4,000 which a traditional high street agent would charge for a typical £300,000 property.
Esale has built up an excellent reputation for its services, with review site Trustpilot currently showing an overall rating of 9.8 out of ten, the firm receiving 150 (out of 155) 5 star reviews. Uniquely for a start-up operation, Esale is already profitable, making an estimated pre-tax profit of £7,000 in its last financial year.
Esale managing director David Rook said: “I am delighted with our crowdfunding success and I am very thankful to Andrew and the Crowd for Angels team for all their help, advice and support.”
