Yorkshire agency is dressed to thrill in charity boat races

The Linley & Simpson dragon boat team

Staff from a Yorkshire estate and letting agent didn’t just walk like an Egyptian in aid of their chosen of they year – they also paddled like one!

A team of 11 Linley & Simpson staff made their rowing debut in the 10th annual Dragon Boat Race at Roundhay Park in  to raise money for Martin House Children’s Hospice.

And Nicola Sutton dressed as Cleopatra drummed “The Linley & Simpson Pharoah-wers” into a very respectable 6th place out of over 30 teams who took part in the fun.

Fellow team members Martin Elliott, , Emily Wilkinson, , Will Linley, , , Neil McGroarty, Joe Gilman and Paul Bridgeman also dressed up in Egyptian costumes – scooping the trophy for “Best Dressed Team”.

The day of races raised more than £30,000 for the hospice.
