Outstanding service is to the “Manor” born

One can always be assured of a great reception at Aldwark Manor Golf & Spa Hotel, near York – that’s the verdict of the QHotels internal ‘Inspired by You’ employee awards.

The company awards have been designed to reward individual departments across QHotels’ 26 venues -including 10 golf resorts – that demonstrate great all-round performance in service delivery and financial results.

And the front desk at Aldwark Manor Golf & Spa Hotel snapped up the award for “Best Reception Team” following a series of excellent reviews.

The quarterly awards recognise the hotels with the highest percentage of ServiceVision – a rating provided by an eponymous third-party research agency which surveys guests on the standards of customer service, facilities, cleanliness, ‘going the extra mile’, food quality and many more.

Stewart Woodeson, general manager at Aldwark Manor, said: “It can often get really busy on reception, but we are very proud that our team has shown they can remain unflustered, caring and helpful at all times. The scores don’t lie and we’ve had many very complimentary comments from satisfied guests. Congratulations to the whole team.”
