Rudding Park, which unveiled its new spa in May, has been shortlisted as a finalist in the annual White Rose Awards.
The largest celebration of tourism excellence in the UK, the Welcome to Yorkshire White Rose Awards recognise the very best of the industry throughout the county. Rudding Park is one of seven leading hotels shortlisted in the Large Hotel of the Year category.
The White Rose Awards has a rigorous and independent judging process. The 2017 judging panel is chaired by Colin Mellors, pro-vice chancellor of York University and also includes Elaine Lemm, food writer, James Michinson, Yorkshire Post editor and customer experience expert Mark Bradley.
Peter Banks, managing director of Rudding Park, said: “We are thrilled to be shortlisted for such a prestigious award, especially as the recognition is based on the judging panel’s personal experience.
“We are immensely proud of the launch of our new destination spa, which opened in May and the generation of 50 jobs in the local area and we remain wholly committed to supporting Yorkshire as a leading tourism destination.”
