A Yorkshire-based wedding lighting business has partnered with a portable dance floor manufacturer to expand its product offering and better service its wedding clients across the UK.

Cleckheaton-based Wedding Venue Lighting has collaborated with local manufacturer, Portable Floormakers to create a range of unique portable dancefloors for all occasions.

Wedding Venue Lighting offers a range of products such as illuminated love letters, festoon lanterns and flower walls, complete with multi-coloured lighting to suit any occasion or colour scheme. The firm’s lighting features add an extra sparkle to any occasion.

Wedding Venue Lighting teamed up with Portable Floormakers in 2011 after having recognised the need to source a British manufacturer with an emphasis on quality and durability.

With a factory situated in Derby, Portable Floormakers manufacture all products in-house and distribute these globally to the USA, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Australia.

Commenting on the businesses working relationship, managing director and founder of Wedding Venue Lighting, Matt Butcher said:

“We’re incredibly proud to be able to support British manufacturers and partner with a successful business such as Portable Floormakers. Research has shown that consumers now seek British made products, as this instils a confidence in them that they will receive high quality and lasting goods. Collaborating with a talented manufacturer has allowed us to enhance our current product offering and ultimately light up our clients’ big day.”

Sales Manager at Portable Floormakers, Luke Hog said: “It has been an absolute pleasure to work with Wedding Venue Lighting over the years, providing the firm with our bespoke dance floors and our light up letter systems. We’re keen to work with firms who recognise the importance of supporting British manufacturers, to ultimately help create jobs in the industry and boost the UK economy.”
