Hampton By Hilton Humberside welcomes 1,000th guest

The region’s newest – the Hampton by Hilton has welcomed its one thousandth guest – just seven weeks after opening.

Eastern Airways pilot, , enjoyed the hotel’s hospitality last week and was presented with a small memento by , Guest Services Assistant.

The new hotel, which is just minutes away from the terminal, opened its doors on July 18, and since has enjoyed higher than forecasted occupancy levels since then.

“We are very pleased with how people have taken to the hotel since we opened,” said general manager Sam Teale.

“We’ve had a good mix of business guests, people working in the renewables and offshore industries, and holidaymakers about to jet off from Humberside Airport. It has been a fantastic start to our new hotels future!”

In addition to its 100 spacious bedrooms, the Hampton by Hilton Humberside Airport, which cost £8m to develop, features a business and 24-hour fitness centre, and two meeting rooms capable of accommodating up to 50 people, which can be used by residents and non-residents alike.
