A couple wanting to improve their work-life balance have chosen Skipton as the base for their private therapy practice, Being Better, which offers a range of wellbeing treatments.
Husband and wife team, David and Corinne Yeadon, are specialists in treating addictions. Their new practice, based at High Street House in Skipton, provides a private, confidential and discreet therapy service for those looking to simply change bad habits, to those wishing to explore deeper issues.
Corinne has over 20 years’ professional experience working with people suffering from loss, trauma and addiction. However it was a re-evaluation of personal circumstances which prompted David to leave his job as a pensions consultant and retrain as a therapeutic practitioner in 2011.
Establishing their own private practice together in Skipton, a town they both love and have links to, now enables the couple to spend more time with their family and friends.
Corinne Yeadon said: “Due to changes in public funding, people are increasingly choosing to go down the private therapy route in order to enhance their wellbeing.
“Our High Street House location in Skipton is perfect, as it is central yet discreet enough for those wanting to preserve their anonymity. We have two therapy rooms and a large space for workshops which we will be advertising shortly.”
