Yorkshire bakery serves up pork pie platters in new catering range

Yorkshire based family run bakery, The Topping Pie Company, is serving up pork pie platters as part of its new catering range of speciality pork pies, handcrafted quiche and hot eating pies aimed at the premium , bar and deli café trade sector.

The new range from the Doncaster pie maker is designed to offer caterers an alternative to traditional bar snacks, sharing platters and ploughman’s with serving suggestions and beer matching.

Caterers have a choice of Speciality Pork Pies made with British Red Track pork meat and quality ingredients from the 190g and 430g , which when served with quality mustard offers a perfect premium pie and pint, whilst the 190g , served with sweet chilli dip, crisps and jalapeno peppers gives a kick to boring bar snacks.

The range also serves up Large Game & Poultry (2.2kg) pork pies for the more discerning customer and the Large Chicken and Ham Pork Pie provides a new twist on Ham & Eggs for lunch.

A spin on pub and deli sharing platters, Toppings offers a selection of cold cutting pork pies for their Ploughman’s Sharing Platter, including Huntsman, Chicken and Ham; Scrumpy; Game and Poultry, Yorkshire Farmers and Traditional.

The Heaven for Pork Pie Lovers sharing platter is also available, as well as the Dinky Topped offer, which also features six new flavours, including Garlic & Nigella Seeds; Gooseberry, Coriander & Chilli; Blackberry, Stilton & Sloe Gin; Strawberry Champagne and White Wensleydale and , Onion and Feta which are tasty with a favourite tipple.

A new range of large catering quiches has also been introduced, including a 1.3kg Quiche Lorraine and a new oblong 1.2kg Smoked Salmon Dill and Mozzarella flavour with serving suggestions.

Toppings has also launched a range of gourmet hot eating pies and pasties for the catering trade, from the classic pasty to a choice of premium steak pie varieties.  A new vegetarian option has been added – Spiced Tomato, Roasted Mediterranean Vegetables and Goats Cheese.
