Leeds-based Evans Property Group has completed the sale of a 5,100 sq ft unit within Global Business Park in Millshaw, Leeds to Lily Comms. The property will be the first Leeds base for the expanding West Yorkshire IT company, who currently operate from offices in Bradford.
Lily Comms provides communication solutions for businesses across the UK. To support business growth, the company has purchased a Grade A self-contained office (Unit A) set within the Global Business Park located off the Leeds Outer Ring Road.
The business Park is situated on Global Avenue in Millshaw, just 4 miles to the south of Leeds City Centre, 0.25 miles from junction 1 of the M621 and 2 miles from junction 28 of the M62 motorway. There are excellent public transport links to and from Millshaw and both Leeds Railway Station and Leeds Bradford Airport are easily accessible. The White Rose Shopping Centre is just a few minute’s walk away.
Richard Bean, senior asset manager for Evans Property Group, said: “We are delighted to complete the recent sale of Unit A to Lily Comms. Leeds is fast becoming a major hub for the TMT industry and we are witnessing strong levels of interest from this sector.
“The excellent position of the new offices within Global Business Park provides the perfect location for the company to further expand, and even go global.”
Robin Beagley, partner of commercial property agents WSB, who acted on behalf of Evans Property Group, said: “Global Business Park is a significant out of town office development and the success we have seen with the sale of Unit A underlines the appeal to occupiers of being located in this convenient position close to Leeds City Centre, the motorway network and all of the amenities on offer at The White Rose Centre.”
