One of the UK’s most respected and influential voices on Brexit will be guest speaker at the Institute of Directors’ Festive Leaders’ Lunch.
Allie Renison, Head of Europe and Trade Policy at the IoD will address guests on 7 December at the beautifully refurbished Canham Turner building, formerly known as Staff House, part of the University of Hull.
Allie makes recommendations and represents the voice of IoD members on Brexit and provides the link between business and Government on international trade. She is a regular commentator on Brexit in the national media.
With the government deep in negotiation with the European Union to hammer out the terms of our exit, Allie will offer her take on the state of play – and what it means for businesses.
Also speaking at the lunch will be Louise Gulliver, IoD managing director.
Pat Coyle, chairman of the IoD in East Yorkshire, said: “We are delighted that Allie will be joining us to give an update on the path to Brexit and the potential impacts at a time of great uncertainty for business.
“We’re also looking forward to welcoming members and guests to the Canham Turner building, which has been renovated thanks to a significant donation from the remarkable alumna Barbara Canham Turner.”
The lunch is from Noon to 2.30pm. Tickets are £20 + VAT for IoD members and £25 + VAT for non-members. To book call 0113 2430152, email firstname.lastname@example.org or contact Pat Coyle at email@example.com.
