Sheffield based creative agency Front has branded Ring to support its growth strategy both in the UK and Europe.
The year-long project has covered all marketing collateral from the company’s positioning and website to its packaging and advertising campaigns.
Ring is the market leader in the UK for vehicle lighting and is also a supplier of inspection and maintenance tools to the automotive trade and is a supplier to national retailers of consumer automotive accessories.
Front’s work has included extensive customer research both in the UK and Europe, staff workshops, competitor evaluation, trade/ retail visits and leadership panels. The sole aim has been to develop a powerful position and offering for both trade and consumer audiences.
The new brand’s visual application has been designed for composure and assuredness to reflect Ring’s technical and considered approach.
This includes a vibrant and unique colour range, a contrasting and engaging suite of photography, consistent naming and layout of product titles as well as features and icons which have been developed to aid recognition instore and online and to create stand out at point of sale.
Front director Joe Chetcuti said: “The project involved global issues in terms of naming conventions and applications along with squaring the circle of creating a brand that was appealing to the both the trade and consumer.
