Savills has announced a series of rural breakfast seminars aimed at farmers and landowners, which will take place at various venues across Yorkshire throughout February.
The seminars will include a UK farmland market overview from Andrew Black, head of farm agency at Savills in the north and a farming update from food and farming specialist, Duncan Winspear. Guest speaker James Thornton, CEO of Yorkshire firm Warrendale Farms Limited, will discuss opportunities in the poultry sector and the premium beef market.
Andrew Black said: “Our breakfast seminars will this year provide insight into the various issues impacting farmers and landowners as well as outlining potential diversification opportunities. It is advisable for anyone wishing to attend to register sooner rather than later as places are limited.”
The series will commence with a seminar at Rogerthorpe Manor Hotel in Pontefract on Monday, February 5, followed by The Golden Fleece Hotel in Thirsk on Tuesday, February 6. Later in the month, events will be held at Sandburn Hall in York on Wednesday, February 21, concluding with Driffield Rugby Club on Thursday, February 22.
Delegates are asked to arrive for each of the seminars by 8am, where a cooked breakfast will be provided. They are expected to finish by 10am.
The seminars are free to attend, but guests must register in advance by calling Savills York on 01904 617800 or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
