Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice approached Yorkshire Payments after having recognised the need to update its payment systems in its 14 charity shops across the region. Yorkshire Payments will support the charity with its payment solutions as it expands in 2018, when it plans to open more stores throughout West Yorkshire and North Manchester.
Established in 2013, Yorkshire Payments is the only independently owned payment services provider in Yorkshire, supplying businesses and business owners with electronic payment services. Yorkshire Payments offers a variety of secure digital payment options from hand held terminals to online payment platforms.
As ongoing supporters of the charity, Yorkshire Payments is also a valued member of the charity’s 99er Business Club, whereby the firm makes monthly donations to Forget Me Not, in order to help the charity to continue to provide its essential care to children with life shortening illnesses.
Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice provides care and support to children and families, including clinical care for the children, counselling and help with household chores.
Founder and managing director of Yorkshire Payments James Howard said: “It is an absolute pleasure to be working alongside an organisation that does great things in the local Yorkshire community. The work that Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice conducts is so important to children and families locally and we’re extremely pleased to be able to support them with the critical work they conduct in their ten charity shops across the region.”
Gareth Pierce, head of training at Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice, said: “Working with Yorkshire Payments will allow us to make Forget Me Not’s retail stores much more accessible to customers. As ongoing supporters of our charity and members of the 99ers business club, we’re pleased to be able to continue our long-standing relationship with Yorkshire Payments, whose valuable support will help us with our expansion throughout the region.”
