Olympic gold medallist Sally Gunnell is the guest speaker at the annual Institute of Directors’ Humber Luncheon which signals the start of Humber Business Week 2018.
Sally is the only woman ever to hold four titles concurrently – Olympic, World, European and Commonwealth – in the 400m hurdles.
Since retiring from athletics in 1997, Sally now mixes motivational speaking with running corporate well-being programmes. She was made an MBE in 1993 and an OBE in 1998.
Sally will address business leaders at the KCOM Stadium on Monday 4 June.
Pat Coyle, chairman of the IoD in East Yorkshire, said: “Sally is one of Britain’s highest achieving sportswomen, going on to become a renowned athletics broadcaster and commentator on the health and fitness industry.
“We look forward to hearing from Sally about the synergies between sporting achievement and success in business.”
The Humber Luncheon starts at noon. Tickets are £47 for IoD members and £54 for non-members. Tables of 10 are £450. To book, email email@example.com or email Branch Chair Pat Coyle at firstname.lastname@example.org
Event sponsors are KCOM, RSM and the University of Hull.
