The Shire Bed Company launched the second year of its sponsorship deal with top professional rugby league team and Super League champions 2017, Leeds Rhinos.
The partnership, was officially launched at the club’s Emerald Stadium Headingly. It will allow the Dewsbury-based bed manufacturer to continue its Sleep4Sport project and further develop its collection of professional mattresses offering the rest and recovery benefits critical to elite sports players.
The agreement will also allow Shire Beds to strengthen its relationship with the team’s physios, coaches and players.
Fara Butt, marketing director of The Shire Bed Company, said: “We’re delighted to continue our support for Leeds Rhinos and look forward to developing our relationship with the team and our joint Sleep4Sport project.”
Established in 1997, the same year that the Leeds Rugby League team became Leeds Rhinos, The Shire Bed Company is a family-run business with roots firmly based in Dewsbury, Yorkshire, where it produces high quality beds, mattresses and divan bases.
The bed manufacturer, which is proud of its Yorkshire roots, is also a major sponsor of Yorkshire County Cricket Club (YCCC).
The company supplies nationally and internationally to major retailers and the contract sector including education, care and hospitality.
