Trade Skills 4U set for expansion with new £1m Yorkshire site

Electrical training course provider, 4U (TS4U), has announced the launch of a new state-of-the-art training facility in , as it looks to target aspiring electricians in the Yorkshire and regions.

Established in 2005, the Gatwick-headquartered business specialises in electrical training, delivering courses to over 3,000 students per annum.

It currently boasts some of the highest pass rates in the , and is the first electrical training organisation to be accepted into the Institution of Engineering and ’s Centre of Excellence.

The new 16,000 sq ft Leeds premises will be TS4U’s fourth training centre following its success in Gatwick, Central London and Warrington, and will boost national headcount from 50 to 55 employees. The facility will house advanced training classrooms built to the highest of specifications and will be equipped with the latest technology.

TS4U aims to develop individuals with no previous electrical experience by offering the widest range of electrician courses in the UK for new entrants. It also facilitates courses for qualified electricians looking to move into new areas of electrical work.

In 2017, the company was backed by Palatine Private Equity’s £100m , which targets businesses with a positive social and/or environmental impact.

The first courses are now live to book online, starting from the May 14 2018. TS4U will be holding a launch day on May 9 at Phoenix House, Hawthorn Park, Coal Road, Leeds, LS14 1PQ, where potential students can register for free taster sessions as well as a tour of the facility.
