Blacks Solicitors LLP has announced that it has nominated the Leeds-based Children’s Heart Surgery Fund as its headline charity for 2018.

The Charity and Corporate Social Responsibility Team at Blacks Solicitors will raise money throughout 2018 with several fundraising events and activities including a bingo night that has already raised £600, Blacks Easter Bake Off, summer party, pumpkin carving contest and of course, National Christmas Jumper Day.

Founded in 1988, Children’s Heart Surgery Fund supports children and adults born with congenital heart disease across Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire. Money raised by the team at Blacks will go towards funding ground-breaking new equipment, resources, training and research.

Alongside Children’s Heart Surgery Fund, Blacks will be donating money to other charities including Getaway Girls and the RSPCA in Leeds.
