MBA Engineering, a supplier of laser cutting and metal fabrication equipment, has received the latest ISO Standards for Quality Management (9001: 2015) certification from United Registrar of Systems (URS), following stringent assessment.
The ISO standard 9001: 2015 is an international business standard that specifies criteria for documentation, implementation and certification of management quality systems.
Encouraging the MBA Engineering team to look into the potential risks associated with each of its processes and practices, the ISO standard 9001: 2015 is focused heavily on risk-based thinking.
The certification is also designed to assure customers that a certified company can offer products and services of consistently good quality.
Working closely with a URS-accredited auditor, the MBA Engineering team has developed a series of streamlined, efficient procedures, with the aim of keeping risks at a minimum.
Bradley McBain, managing director of MBA Engineering, said: “At MBA Engineering we’re always looking for ways in which to improve and develop our internal procedures, in order to guarantee we’re offering the best services to our clients.
“To receive accreditation under the latest ISO 9001 certification is a great achievement for us, as it demonstrates to our customers that we’re committed to providing consistently high levels of service.
“The assessment process to receive this certification is quite rigorous – we all pulled together and worked as a team to make sure we had the best possible chance of receiving the accreditation.
“Our dedication to our customers means that, moving forward, we’ll work hard to ensure we continue to adhere to the standard set out in ISO 9001:2015.”
