West Yorkshire-based HGV driver recruitment company Recruitment Driven has expanded into new premises with the support of a six-figure funding package from HSBC.

Founded in 2012, Recruitment Driven has developed a roster of highly skilled HGV drivers who work across a range of retail, industry and commercial sectors.

The six-figure funding package from HSBC has enabled Recruitment Driven to acquire additional premises in Birstall. This expansion acts as part of a wider growth plan, which also includes entering North West markets over the coming months.

The firm also offers training programmes for existing drivers and those looking to enter the industry, as well as integrated first aid training. This 2,400 sq ft new location provides a purpose-built space for driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) training and gives room for staff expansion.

Recruitment Driven’s whole range of training programmes are also set to expand training packages  in the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR), first aid and manual handling.

Sean Bartrupe, director of Recruitment Driven, said: “It’s fantastic to see our network of talented drivers grow and we’re delighted to have worked with so many great clients over the past few years. The new Birstall site will enable us to diversify our range of drivers and training, creating an improved service for customers and drivers alike.”

Jo Dickinson, area director for South & West Yorkshire, said: “We’re delighted to help this ambitious West Yorkshire firm expand to new locations throughout the country and enter key markets. We look forward to seeing what the future holds.”

Recruitment Driven is recognised by The Regulatory Body for Workplace Transport Training (RTITB). The firm’s success is based on operating a “right driver for the right job” policy, taking client needs into consideration and finding specific solutions.
