Leeds-based planning and design consultancy, Barton Willmore, celebrated its 21st anniversary in the City at a special event held at Victoria Gate with staff and clients.
The celebration, which was hosted by partner James Hall in the recently opened East 59th, welcomed more than 100 guests from across Yorkshire’s property and legal sector.
Barton Willmore opened in the City in 1997 establishing a base at Joseph’s Well, before moving to Thorpe Park and then back in to the centre of Leeds on King Street in 2011.
Over the last two decades the UK’s largest independent planning and design consultancy has worked on a number of landmark projects across Yorkshire. This includes such as Vickers Tank Factory in Leeds, Humber Bridge Head Park / Kingswood in Hull and the Waverley development in Rotherham.
One job even allowed the practice’s work to be seen by millions around the world when Yorkshire Television commissioned Barton Willmore to act as consultants for the Emmerdale Village at Harewood House in Leeds.
James Hall, partner at Barton Willmore, said: “Over the last 21 years Barton Willmore has established itself as one of the biggest players in the residential and employment planning market in Yorkshire, always aspiring to deliver bespoke high-quality places. We were delighted that so many of our clients could join us to celebrate.”
