Blue Logic announces acquisition strategy

Blue Logic is now actively looking for future acquisition opportunities within the north of England as it looks to strengthen its position as the region’s leading managed IT services and accounting solutions provider.

This follows a successful period of growth in 2017, including a 20 per cent increase in staff, several large client and partnership wins and picking up numerous industry awards including ‘Best Tech Place to Work’. Blue Logic continues to stand out from the crowd in the highly competitive Managed IT services space.

Blue Logic has grown its turnover to £7m, and expects to drive this to £15m by 2025. Expansion will be achieved through an effective acquisition strategy as well as expanding the team with key hires and continued development of internal talent.

Dave Helm, commercial director, said: “Having achieved our ambitious growth plans over the past 12 years, we are now actively looking for successful regionally based technology companies with a contracted client base or complementary technology focused businesses that are open to potential acquisition conversations – our plans for the future will be achieved by expansion through acquisition in addition to our organic growth path.”

Managing director Mark Ambler added: “2018 will be considered a dynamic year in the history of Blue Logic with investment plans in place, some significant new customer wins and a recruitment drive across all divisions as we look for more of the right people to join us at this very exciting time in our development.”
