Connexin has been awarded with the ISO 9001, 14001 and 18001 certification, the global benchmark representing best practice.
The ISO certification further emphasises Connexin’s commitment to quality management and its dedication to having the highest standards in the industry.
The ISO certification is structured around several key areas of quality management in business, including customer focus, leadership, employee engagement, minimising waste and errors whilst increasing productivity.
The ISO audit monitors companies in all industries, with members from 161 countries and 780 technical committees and subcommittees. They give world-class specifications for products, services and systems, to ensure quality, safety and efficiency, by applying their QMS – Quality Management System.
Alex Yeung, co-founder and chief operating officer, Connexin, said: “We are very proud to have passed the ISO audit. I feel this demonstrates the best practice used at Connexin. Our clients, suppliers and dedicated staff deserve the best. We look forward to partaking in future audits.”
Wynn Walker of QMS International, consultant, said: “Connexin were eager to engage with and very forward leaning in their approach to ISO certification. In my opinion, Connexin have embraced the ethos of ISO and how beneficial the certifications would be both to their reputation and to their approach to risk mitigation.
“The organisation is venturing into new business opportunities with Hull City Council and other equally important projects, and by implementing the requirements of the ISO Standards, will stand them in good-stead with improving customer relations and becoming a market leader in the field of internet, telephony and smart city solutions.”
