A free business seminar in Harrogate will help businesses prepare for tax going completely digital.
With the government’s Making Tax Digital initiative coming into force in April 2019, businesses will need to ensure they are compliant in the way their tax is set up.
The event is the latest business development breakfast event by DSC Chartered Accountants and will be held at 8am-10am at the Old Swan Hotel on Friday, June 15 and repeated on Friday, June 22.
John Garbutt of DSC said: “Changes to regulations can seem daunting, but once you understand what’s needed it’s easy to put the steps in place to ensure your business is compliant.
“As well as covering the requirements of Making Tax Digital, we’ll discuss the benefits of cloud accounting in bringing everything together for easy management wherever you are.”
DSC, a leading independent firm of chartered accountants and registered auditors which began operating more than 50 years ago, completed two mergers last year giving them a presence in Leeds as well as Harrogate.
The accountancy firm has been running free business support events for more than a decade and the breakfasts are well established, popular local networking events.
The June seminars are free to attend but places are limited and must be booked in advance. To book a place email firstname.lastname@example.org or call Ellie on 01423 560547.
