Andy is a prominent insolvency practitioner with over 9 years’ experience acting for distressed mid-market, owner managed businesses and individuals. He now specialises in formal insolvency planning including advising individuals and partnerships and acting as a Trustee in bankruptcy.
Andy has relocated from RSM’s restructuring team in the East Midlands to work alongside Alec Pillmoor to support a growing number of personal insolvency clients and help to grow the insolvency offering within the North and nationally.
Andy Capes, office managing partner at RSM in Hull said: “This is the second senior hire in our restructuring practice in as many months, which highlights the success of our restructuring practice and our commitment to the region, whilst reaffirming our position as the go-to firm for individuals and businesses in distress.”
Alec Pillmoor, restructuring partner in Hull and RSM’s head of personal insolvency nationally, said: “The current economic landscape is presenting a range of obstacles for individuals trying to manage their finances effectively; and it’s great to have Andy on board to broaden our reach and capability to ensure we can help more clients navigate and mitigate risk in a challenging market.”
Andy added: “The new role not only offered a unique professional opportunity to help shape a growing practice, but it presented the chance to move to a up and coming region.
“The dynamism of the office is reflected in the City, which made it a very easy decision to relocate. I look forward to working with Alec and the team to contribute to the future growth of the firm.”
