Yorkshire-headquartered specialist property business, the Priestley Group, has launched Priestley’s estate agents to cater to the region’s robust rental and sales markets.
The move sees the group’s existing lettings offering, Priestley Lettings, which was established in 2010, rebranding to Priestley’s and diversifying into sales.
It follows eight years of growth for the company, which expects to double its £250,000 turnover over the next three years.
Priestley’s will continue to operate out of its two main branches – one at the group’s new £1.2m headquarters on Elland Road in Leeds and a second in Bradford – and plans to expand into other major cities nationwide in the coming years, with Manchester and York earmarked.
The company currently manages more than 500 residential and student properties across Leeds and Bradford and will continue to handle the sales, lettings and management of stock developed by the Priestley Group and other customers alike.
Priestley’s has also made significant investments into its nine-strong team, which is overseen by director, James Priestley.
With an extensive background in lettings and sales, as well as strong facilities management experience, Samantha Tetley joins Priestley’s as the branch manager of its Leeds office.
Garry Naylor has been appointed as lettings and sales negotiator and is in charge of the company’s leasing for all clients, managing the process from start to finish.
Priestley’s has also employed two apprentice administrators, Ellie Worby, who operates out of the Bradford branch and Georgia Nicholson, who has joined the Leeds team.
Both apprentices are studying towards business management qualifications, with responsibilities including property applications, maintenance and social media management.
James Priestley, director of Priestley’s, said: “Following eight years of Priestley Lettings success in the ever-buoyant Yorkshire market, it was only a matter of time before we expanded into sales to continue our growth.
“We are experts in property sales, lettings and management – a reputation that’s testament to the emphasis we put on staff training and improving our business environment to get the very best from our people. This dedication results in the exceptional service we provide to our customers.”
Nathan Priestley, chief executive officer of the Priestley Group, said: “Priestley’s will play a vital role relating to sales and lettings within the group and continue to lead the way among our industry peers.”
