Wharfedale Grange opened its barn doors to happy couples earlier this summer and last week the Mayor and Mayoress of Harrogate, Coun Bernard and Mrs Linda Bateman attended the launch with over 300 VIP guests.
Set within a beautiful fruit and flower farm midway between Leeds and Harrogate, Wharfedale Grange looks out onto the North Park of Harewood House with a vista that spans from Kirkby Overblow to Weeton.
The redevelopment of four barns into a super-luxury farmhouse style events venue makes this rural retreat one of the most exclusive venues in Yorkshire.
There are no white walls, ceilings, plaster board or marquee liners in sight. The owner and proprietor Claire Thomas describes it as “romantic industrial”, as the barns have been converted in an industrial style, contrasting with the super-luxury cocktail bar, chandeliers, and soft velvets of the unique furnishings. The venue can hold up to 250 guests.
