Sheffield financial planner Jillian Thomas has been shortlisted for a national Female Entrepreneur of the Year award.
Jillian, who is managing director of Future Life Wealth Management, has been shortlisted in the Yorkshire, North East and Scotland region of the Forward Ladies awards.
The awards ceremony will be held at the Crowne Plaza in Newcastle in September, with the national final in Leeds in December.
Jillian, whose business is based at Renishaw near Sheffield, said: “I am really pleased to have been shortlisted, but I know this recognition is not just about me, but also the team at Future Life who work hard to give the best to our clients.”
Future Life Wealth Management offers a bespoke financial planning service to generators of wealth, typically business owners, executives and professionals, and also to receivers of wealth, such as inheritors, divorcees, widows and retirees.
Since Jillian set up the company in 2010 it has grown by about 30 per cent year on year. The company represented finance in the 2017 Parliamentary Review, an influential report which is sent to more than 250,000 leading business executives and policymakers.
Jillian, who is a former president of Sheffield Chamber of Commerce and Industry, is also through to the national finals of the Institute of Directors awards in the Corporate Social Responsibility category.
