Joe Manby Limited wins world’s leading annual ocean energy event

Event services specialist Joe Manby Limited has been appointed to provide services to Ocean Energy Europe 2018 (OEE2018) – the world’s leading annual specialist conference and exhibition on renewable energy ocean technologies.

The Harrogate-based company will provide integrated event services to the annual event being staged at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) from 30-31 October.

OEE2018 is organised by Ocean Energy Europe, the industry association which represents ocean energy in Europe and is the largest network of ocean energy professionals in the world. The conference attracts more than 400 professionals from all parts of the industry and from more than 20 countries. Ocean energy experts will come together to do business and hear about the sector’s latest news and developments.

Joe Manby Limited will provide stand installation, show graphics, electrics, furniture & carpet hire to the event.

Amy Parsons, communications and events director at OEE, said: “The Ocean Energy Europe event attracts ministers, commissioners and the industry’s most senior representatives, so we needed a highly experienced and efficient events company we could rely on.

“Joe Manby Limited’s reputation goes before them.  We trust the company to do an excellent job and very much look forward to working with them.”

Andrew Manby, director at Joe Manby Limited, said: “Joe Manby Limited is delighted to have won this business through a referral from the EICC where we already manage a portfolio of events. Ocean Energy Europe is the world’s leading annual ocean energy event and we are pleased to be involved.”

Joe Manby Limited offers a comprehensive range of event services to organisers and exhibitors at major venues throughout the UK.  It has a growing portfolio and a worldwide customer base.
