Skipton based Rural Solutions has announced an official working alliance with The Landscape Agency.
The Rural Solutions team has appointed landscape architects, Matt Jarvis and Alex Robinson previously of The Landscape Agency to join the business and set up a new division.
This means that Rural Solutions will now be able to offer clients landscape architecture services alongside its current service offering. This responds directly to the needs of more and more projects.
Matt Jarvis and Alex Robinson will be joining the Rural Solutions team on 1st October 2018. Patrick James of The Landscape Agency will be refocusing the energies of his business on master-planning and placemaking as core services, as well as working with Rural Solutions’ planning and design teams on this new initiative.
The Landscape Agency has secured awards from the RIBA, Europa Nostra, and the Royal Horticultural Society with a gold medal for a Show Garden at the Chelsea Flower Show in 2013 and holds an impressive 20-year track record. Rural Solutions and The Landscape Agency have worked together over many of these years, this therefore feels like a very natural extension of our already close working relationship.
Both companies operate in similar sectors and possess the same proven track record in delivering excellence to their clients. The addition of landscape architecture skills to Rural Solutions’ successful advisory, planning, and design services will bring significant advantages to all existing and future clients in sectors including traditional estates, heritage, new country houses and development.
Rural Solutions works side-by-side with its clients to shape and deliver their most important rural business, development and diversification decisions. Rural Solutions focuses on financial outcomes, development feasibility and diversification concepts.
The Landscape Agency broadens this offer with a proven proposition based on master-planning and place-making. This combination will help to reinforce the holistic approach our clients are looking for, and we know that this offer will combine to add economic, environmental and social value to a wide range of projects.
William Fry, managing director of Rural Solutions, said: “We are delighted to formally mark the combining of our industry leading expertise with The Landscape Agency.
“We are committed to being able to deliver the deepest insight and more trusted advisory to our clients and this new partnership will enable us to support the projects we work on more closely to deliver stunning landscapes across the UK.”
