A junior football club based has kicked off the soccer season wearing a new strip sponsored by Yorkshire construction company, Castlehouse Construction.
Leeds-based Castlehouse is supporting Ribbleton Junior FC, which trains near the site of one of the firm’s new build developments for leading discount retailer, Aldi. The kit deal forms part of the company’s community engagement programme to build stronger local links.
One of the biggest amateur children’s football club’s in Preston, Ribbleton FC was established 15 years ago with just one team, the Denville Devils, and has now grown with more than 300 players, representing 38 teams in the Under 7s to Under 21 age groups across the Preston area.
Castlehouse project manager Dave Coulton said: “We are always looking to support local community groups and Ribbleton Junior FC is a particularly good one for us to back as we are not only championing grassroots football with our kit sponsorship, but also putting something back into the disadvantaged local area to bring on young footballing talent. We are absolutely delighted to be the official kit sponsor for the club.”
Darren Ghouse, manager, Ribbleton Junior FC, said: “We are delighted to secure sponsorship with Castlehouse Construction. This is so key to helping our young football stars feel inclusive and proud of their club.
“The backing also helps the monthly subscription fees paid by parents go much further. Some of our boys come from under privileged backgrounds and this cash injection goes a long way to helping us kit everyone out so they are all on a level playing field.”
Ribbleton Junior FC provides a positive environment to nuture young talent, develop the footballing skills of its members and to build social skills of players of all abilities. Ribbleton FC is a Lancashire FA affiliated Chartered Standard Football Club and also supports two girls teams representing the club in the Poulton and District and North Valley and Burnley Unity Youth League.
Castlehouse Construction is a Leeds based company founded by Richard Lumley and Frank Kofler. The directors have a wealth of senior management experience spanning four decades, having worked for, and founded, major private companies within the Yorkshire region.
