Agency director brings fresh and innovative approach to bondholders

Lanie Green

, the not for profit membership organisation created to help in the growth and regeneration of the Wakefield district, has welcomed as vice chairperson.

Born and bred in Wakefield, Lanie is creative director of Our which specialises in design and marketing from its base at Nostell Priory; she takes over the role from , who remains a member of the .

Lanie, who has a personal understanding of Wakefield’s charms and challenges has been an advocate of supporting businesses in the district since Our Agency moved to Wakefield in 2009.

Lanie said: “I am incredibly honoured to be a representative for Bondholders and an ambassador for the Wakefield district.

“I originally joined Bondholders to make a positive difference to our ‘home turf’ and believe that to achieve change we must work together, encourage prosperity and promote Wakefield as a viable place to invest, live and visit.

“I am very much looking forward to bringing these principles to my new role and to keeping the spotlight shining on our district, after all attracting development and investment into our area will ultimately encourage prosperity as a whole and bring advantages to all.”

Adrian Spawforth, chair of Wakefield Bondholders, said: “Lanie and her team at Our Agency have been heavily involved in Wakefield Bondholders from the very early days; this combined with her background in design, marketing and business development makes her the ideal person for this role.

“She is already a natural advocate for our region and for Bondholders, her passion for making a difference is palpable and we are certainly looking forward to seeing how this can continue to help realise our vision and drive our ambitions for Wakefield.”
