Television favourite Georgia “Toff” Toffolo has joined the line-up for Made Up Leeds – the city’s first ever cosmetics festival that aims to go beyond beauty.
The I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! winner and former Made in Chelsea star will discuss issues around confidence and self-esteem as well as her own beauty journey and her struggles with acne.
The 23-year-old star, who is also a regular on ITV’s This Morning said: “Leeds is such a great city and I’m really excited to get involved with Made Up Leeds and talk about issues that are close to my heart.”
Made Up Leeds takes place on September 29 and 30 and is an inclusive, city-wide festival with more than 110 individual offers from 90 cosmetics stores, franchises, restaurants and bars.
The line-up already includes British makeup artist and columnist Ruby Hammer MBE, who co-founded Ruby & Millie make up, Love Island stars Kaz Crossley and Alexandra Cane, plus hair stylist and E4’s Body Fixers star Danny Richo.
More line-up announcements will be made in the coming weeks.
Some of the biggest names in the city’s retail scene are involved, including John Lewis, Harvey Nichols, Debenhams, Trinity Leeds, The Merrion Centre, St Johns Centre and The Light, supported by Leeds BID.
Andrew Cooper, chief executive at Leeds BID, said: “Toff captured the hearts of the public in I’m a Celebrity and Made in Chelsea and she’s a role model for so many young people, speaking openly about overcoming confidence and self-esteem issues – something that affects almost everyone.
“She’s a perfect fit for Made Up Leeds, which goes beyond beauty and recognises it isn’t just skin deep. We’re proud to announce Toff as a headline speaker for such a prestigious, city-wide event.”
Other Made Up Leeds highlights include Glam Bars on Briggate hosted by John Lewis, a Beauty Bridge at Trinity Leeds with mini makeovers, hair tips and beauty advice, and Eyes & Lips counters at Leeds Train Station hosted by Harvey Nichols.
Toff will be speaking at The Beauty Room at Trinity Leeds at 3.30pm on Saturday, September 29. Limited places are available. For full details visit www.madeupleeds.co.uk.
