Yorkshire-based entrepreneur launches Scotland’s first spirit expo

Leeds-based entrepreneur, Jasmine Wheelhouse, will launch Scotland’s first spirit and cocktail festival in Dumfries in February 2019.

The founder of award-winning event, The Gin Fayre, will introduce Craft Spirit Expo, to hundreds of people in Dumfries on February 16, 2019 at Easterbrook Hall.

Eight other Craft Spirit Expo events will take place in venues across Scotland throughout the year.

Jasmine was awarded Event of the Year at the Scottish Gin Awards earlier this year for her work with gin distiller event, The Gin Fayre.

New event, Craft Spirit Expo, will showcase a variety of spirit brands from Scotland, the UK and the rest of the world.

Guests will enjoy free samples, drinks vouchers, a branded Craft Spirit Expo glass, an event brochure and the opportunity to learn more about each spirit and their perfect serve.

Jasmine Wheelhouse said: “We’re so excited to launch Craft Spirit Expo. There’s been a lot of planning going on in the last few months and we feel like this is the perfect event to run alongside The Gin Fayre, which of course, will continue to tour throughout 2019.

“We’ve a jam-packed calendar full of events for next year now and if you’ve enjoyed visiting The Gin Fayre previously, we just know that you’re going to love Craft Spirit Expo.

“We can’t wait to kick off our first event in Dumfries in February 2019.”

Early bird tickets are now on sale with 20 per cent off and can be purchased from the Craft Spirit Expo website:
