Jordans Solicitors has announced the appointment of John Ozyer as criminal defence solicitor advocate.
Specialising in motoring and road traffic offences, John’s other areas of expertise include serious crime and fraud offences. Across each legal area, John will be representing clients in both magistrates and crown court.
Based in Jordans Solicitors’ Wakefield office, John will also be liaising with clients across the other office sites in Dewsbury, Horsforth and Selby – the latter of which opened its doors to clients in North Yorkshire this September. Whilst the firm is based in Yorkshire it will be representing clients nationwide.
He will be reporting directly to Sukhbeer Shergill, partner at the firm and head of both family and crime departments.
John’s appointment takes Jordans staffing team up to 60 in total across all four offices.
Christine Sands, managing partner at Jordans Solicitors, said: “John is a fantastic addition to Jordans. His expertise and accreditations in criminal litigation for advocacy and fraud will help provide additional legal advice and support for our clients both in Yorkshire and across the UK.”
