Joe Manby Limited has agreed a new two-year contract with DVV Media International Limited to provide event services for its upcoming Tip-ex, Tank-ex and Drain-ex shows in Harrogate.
The firm will also provide event services for Freight in the City, a one-day transport event being staged at London’s Alexandra Palace in November 2019 for the fifth year running.
The Tip-ex, Tank-ex and Drain-ex shows are the UK’s only exhibitions dedicated national events for the tipper, tanker and bulk haulage industries. Held at the Harrogate Convention Centre from 30 May-1 June 2019, more than 150 trucks will be displayed in Halls A, B, C, G & M with displays spilling over into the grounds of the adjacent Majestic Hotel. The show attracts more than 3,500 visitors to the town.
The Freight in the City Expo attracts around 1,000 visitors to see more than 60 exhibitors showcasing the very latest vehicles, technology and equipment for safe and efficient urban deliveries. A seminar programme which runs alongside the exhibition will debate the challenges and opportunities facing the urban logistics sector.
Stephen Pobjoy, head of Events at DVV Media International, said: “We’ve worked with Joe Manby Limited since 2007 and are delighted to reappoint the firm again for our shows in Harrogate and London.
